Rugby is the best sport ever - for I agree with rugby being the best sport ever because it has everything, tackles, kicks and the energy when you score. If you were to play rugby you would get fit, strong, agile and way faster. So all the pros. Of course there's bad things too, like getting concussions, injuries and even more complex things like sever's disease. You get it by being too active and your muscles get all glued together. If we win it puts points on a table. The team with the most points wins the session. Sometimes the weather plays up and sometimes the games get really special. Like the 2011 cup final how the all blacks won 8 - 7 to France or that time in 2013 in dublin, when nz won 24 - 22. It was that one kick that made it happen. The irish charged too early and Aaron Cruden missed the kick. The all blacks called a rekick, so the irsish couldn’t charge. This time Cruden converted the kick and that's how it happened. My next example is that if you think about it, you are representing your whole country. If you play for the all blacks, you are representing 4.8 Million people. That’s when the pressure is on. Have you ever been so nervous you've been sick? That’s what the All black hold in. did you know that the better you play the more money you earn. So you're practically earning money by getting fit. Take beauden barrett for example, he gets paid 1 Massive Million A year for what he loves most. The highest paid all black is Charles Piutau with a whopping 1.94 Million dollars. So that’s 1 Million 940 buckaroos. The 940 is enough to amaze me. The fastest man in rugby history is a 30 year old speedster carlin isles. With 10.13 for the hundred meters. Speaking of which the fastest all black in all time is Reiko Ioane 10.3 seconds for a 100m. That 37 km! I’d like to see you try to go that fast. My Favourite rugby player is a crusader and all black Will Jordan. He plays a full back and right wing. Who's your favourite rugby player? It could even be someone called Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi. Yes it is an actual name! He plays halfback. Did you know that a single rugby player could change history? My next example is about how one small change can make a big impact in world rugby. Like on saturday the 14th november 2020, how argentina won against the all Blacks for the first time ever! But yet again a wallaby, James O'Connor was not playing for australia the day and tha aussies won. That had an impact on the all blacks so they brought the mistakes for the argentina game. You see if James O’Connor played maybe we would have won the match against Australia, and maybe we would have won the game against the pumas. See it all connects. Furthermore the best coach in the world coached the all blacks, Steve hanson. He is 61 years old and coached the all blacks for 15 years! And I got to say, he does not mess around. The All Blacks have been around since 1905! That's 115 YEARS AGO! The most famous all black is outside centre Frank Bruce. Frank is samoan and played for the all blacks in 1992 were he made his debut in the all back fancheyes. In other words, without doubt I think rugby is the best sport for a number of reasons. The francheyes, the hall of fame, all to represent your country and earn money for getting fit. I hope I convinced you to play rugby, and have a fun time. Who knows maybe you could put down roots and create a legacy.

Gold,
Heavy and hard
It smells strong
and dense and cold
Metallic
A scratchy and itchy surface

Blue,
Slippery and liquidy
It smells like space
Which no one's smelt before
It sounds like a raging river
In torrential rain

Red,
Thick and slimy
Freshly made rubber tyres smell red
It sounds like paper
flapping in the wind.

Anzac day 2020

 First I made poppies out of egg cartons and painted them red then black in the middle. I stuck them on a green circle for the grass then stuck lest we forget, all with a glue stick. Also I made my own pant using 1 cup salt, flour and water. then I put food colouring for colours. Hope you liked my art.

Today we are learning about south africa. We ate south african food and learned about their culture. South africa has 11 languages and three includes mouth clicks. one is X, and to do this like riding a horse you do it on the side of your mouth. some of the food names. walkie talkies are chicken feet, smileys are sheeps head, bunny chow is a hollow loaf of bread with mince in it.

St John safety tutorial

Today a St John's first aid tutorial Went by in a flash. The lady running it is Kathrin, and she wanted a volunteer to demonstrate how to  check if someone's breathing and I was the volunteer. I was back side down and pretended to be unconscious. she told everyone what to do in that situation. then we had to do it on our buddies. she did another exersice on victor about if your bleeding bad. again we don it on our buddy. then we headed out to lunch

YEAR 7 & 8 Ski Trip

That Thursday was the day we went o a school ski trip, at porters ski felid. This is a Recount of what happend.


The trip there was a long hour and a half. when we got there we had to get written a number on our hand and a rubber band with a lift ticket on it. I was number 8. we got boots and skies.

What I Did In The Holidays

this holidays I went to hanmer springs. we did so many things like mini golf, went on quad push bikes and went to the pool. The pool was better than I even expectade, it had stuff like the lazy river, the super bowl, and even hydroslides. the bikes were cool and also the mini golf.

It was the day we went to the kiwi Creche on the West Coast. The Kiwi Creche is special because it protects kiwi, New Zealand's most protecting animal.
