Anzac day 2020

First I made poppies out of egg cartons and painted them red then black in the middle. I stuck them on a green circle for the grass then stuck lest we forget, all with a glue stick. Also I made my own pant using 1 cup salt, flour and water. then I put food colouring for colours. Hope you liked my art.

  1. Well done sticking with the project Elliot! This is a really special recognition for ANZAC soldiers. Thanks for sharing the process you used so other people might be able to make their own as well, and the photos always help. I made the paint using the recipe too : )

  2. Hi Elliot, thanks for posting the instructions as well as the photos as it makes it really easy to follow. I'm impressed with how well the homemade paint works too! ANZAC Day was so different this year but it felt good to stand at the end of my drive knowing that others were marking the day in their own bubbles as well.

  3. Hi Elliot
Great job with your poppy, it looks fantastic. Was a bit strange this year celebrating ANZAC Day at the end of our drive playing the last post but good to recognise the old diggers. Thanks for teaching me how to make my own paint I will have to try it some time.
